Competition Team
Students participate in elective competitive tournaments about twice a year.
Preparation for tournaments focuses students on a singular goal and builds comradery through team practices. Competition allows students to showcase their skills outside the school.
Our school participates in several divisions:
- Traditional Form
- Weapons
- Point Sparring
- Continuous Sparring
- Musical Form
US Open Martial Arts Championships (Orlando, FL, July 2-3, 2021).
Our brave JPMA students have been training extra hard every day to prepare for their upcoming participation in the US Open Martial Arts Championships (Orlando, FL, July 2-3, 2011). They will be competing in traditional forms, weapons and sparring with their “never give up, yes, I can” determination to be their very best.
CONGRATULATIONS to all of our students who competed in the US Open this weekend. Every one of you did your very best and we are so very proud of all of you!
